Weddings have become our focus specialism for over four years now, we've been to many venues and worked with many suppliers and coordinators, this enables us to help you plan and prepare by sharing our broad insight in to what to expect on your special day.

First Meeting

We always like to start with an initial pre-meeting with us (either in person or by video call), this gives you the opportunity to get to know us and for us to get to know you in a relaxed environment (usually of your choosing, local to you for example if in person). You can ask any questions you may have and get examples of our work specific to your thoughts, venue or needs. We find this to be an extremely beneficial step in the early stages of planning your big day.

Assuming we hit it off and you wish to proceed, this is where you will be required to pay a retainer of exclusivity, we are committing to your special day and the date is blocked out in our diary, we now begin to plan from here forward and require a commitment in return from you.

Viewing the Venue

The next step is a meeting at the venue to go over your day, your wants and needs, timelines and to ensure that any questions are covered from both sides to ensure the day runs like clock work. This can also be a good opportunity to get some photos or video for that 'save the date' that you'll need to be sending out.

Continuous Communication

We remain in contact with you leading up to the big day and will have a final meeting within a month of your booking where we re visit the plan for the day and cover off any final thoughts, wants or needs from your side again to ensure the day runs as smoothly as possible. 

We like to have a solid plan in place as this allows us to prepare for all eventualities and also means if things do need to shift then we are best prepared to manage such instances.

Your Big Day

On the day of your wedding we have had ample opportunity to get to know you and your needs from us, we can be as visible or stand off as required by your preference and will help and guide as much as you need but we are there to support and satisfy your requirements, we want the day to be the best it can be for you and your guests and will do everything in our power to ensure our part in that is played.

Post Wedding Editing Period

After your wedding day we promise to deliver a preview of sample images within 48 hours and advise a turnaround of six to eight weeks for final handover. Whilst this may sound like a long time, it ensures that we can give our full care and attention to the content we have captured and it also means that when you see the final product, you've had time to process and digest the day ready to then see it through our lenses.

Handover Day

The final handover date will be booked with you and is done in person with bites and bubbles at Gater Snaps HQ!
